It’s the back half of the week! We were in Galveston last weekend and going out of town gets me majorly out of rhythm, but worth it!
We had such a fun time with our friends closing out the summer. Galveston late summer is a real Houston hack. It’s quiet and while it’s not “cool” per-se, it is cooler than in the city, and the breeze keeps it mild and pleasant to be outside.
My kids were in heaven fishing, playing at the beach, and became even more obsessed with the Rubik’s Cube (dad even got the bug). We also made some amazing meals, including a fish fry our last night with the fish they caught.
Stepping away from real life for a few days was a treat before fall festivities hit hard of the next few weeks!

New Guide: The Houston Herbalist's Guide
Herbalism always sounded a little intimidating to me, like you needed a garden full of mystery plants and a grandma who knew what to do with them. Turns out you really just need a few dried herbs, a mason jar, and somewhere to start. This guide covers what herbalism actually is (and the difference between a clinical herbalist and a TCM shop, because Google makes that confusing), three easy beginner projects you can do at your kitchen counter this week, and where to buy herbs right here in Houston. We also introduce you to some local herbalists who'll help you build a plan if you want to go deeper.
Stop Layering Serums. Start Drinking Your Skincare.
As the weather cools, skin often gets drier, duller, and tighter — no matter how many serums you layer on. That's because real hydration starts from within.
Pique's Radiant Skin Duo pairs two formulas that work from the inside out. B·T Fountain is a beauty electrolyte with clinically studied ceramides and ultra-low molecular weight hyaluronic acid. Sun Goddess Matcha brings EGCG antioxidants that protect collagen and calm the stress that shows up as dullness and puffiness.
Skip the five-step routine: plumper, more even-toned skin in weeks is what keeps customers coming back every fall. This bundle sells out fast — once it's gone, it's gone until next year.
Lock in 20% off for life now, backed by Pique's 90-day guarantee. Shop the Radiant Skin Duo before it's gone.
