Wow, what a week! Labor Day is one of those holidays that feels like an abrupt halt in the barely formed new fall rhythm.

We spent the long weekend with my brother’s family in Fort Worth, then came back home for a day around Houston. The main event? The kids requested to see Dad’s office. Why is that so fun as a kid? I loved it too.

And now it feels like the fall semester can “officially” begin. I made pumpkin chili this week (a family favorite), and a friend brought a loaf of sourdough to pair with it. And that to me feels like the kick-off to fall… because we know we can’t wait around for the weather to cooperate for soup season to begin.

Fall events are getting underway, one of the best times of year to get out and try something new. Check out our Yoga Guide, full of new member deals, and all of the awesome events happening around town.

Woo Houston reaches a fiercely engaged audience of Houston wellness insiders. When we recommend something, our readers act on it; no vanity metrics, just real attention from people who trust what's in their inbox.

Namaste

September is National Yoga Month, so consider this your sign. Whether your mat's been collecting dust since 2022 or you've never set foot in a studio, Houston's yoga scene has a spot for you; sweaty hot yoga, slow-down restorative flows, or something in between. We rounded up 9 studios worth checking out, from a Montrose spot that caps classes at 8 people to a Katy wellness center where you can follow up your flow with tea and a massage.
