Gosh, I can't even begin to put into words how good it feels to be back in the rhythm of normal life. Bread making, school, workouts, putting some more systems in place for Woo - August is a wild ride getting here, but it’s feeling great to put some order back in place! I’m definitely a “the more you do the more you do” person, with the flip side being “the less you do, the less you do!” All that to say, I welcome the return to the scheduling and am learning to love each season, structured or less-structured, as welcome rhythms in the year.

A couple things I’m loving:
Dr. Pederson at Chiropractic Nutrition Solutions
The cutest gift shop in The Heights, Genara; I bought some of the prettiest jewelry (and at a great price point)
Fabric resistance bands for workouts - no more slipping!!!
Holiday place settings from Celebration Settings
Trying out new lip colors, I’m looking for the best hydrating lip tint/balm. Anyone have one they love?

In the News: Trump announced a 90-day tariff pause on 300,000 metric tons of imported ground beef, aiming to knock prices down 25% after beef costs jumped 57% in five years (cattle herds are at their smallest since the 1950s). The response is varied across farmers and wellness advocates. Source: CBS News & CNN

Interesting! A new study out this week found peppermint oil may lower blood pressure — adults who took a small dose twice daily for 20 days saw their systolic numbers drop by an average of 8.5 mmHg compared to a placebo group. It's a small trial, so don't ditch your meds over it, but it's a nice reminder that sometimes the simple stuff is worth a second look. Source: ScienceDaily
In the News, Again: Trump signed an executive order on August 10 recommending the MMR vaccine be split into three separate shots instead of the combined version most of us grew up with. If you're weighing vaccine decisions for your kids, worth a conversation with your pediatrician instead of a scroll through the comments. Source: White House Press Release
