Happy back-to-school to those of you back in the early mornings and routines! And for those still in summer mode—I’m right there with you (and if you’re still shopping back-to-school make sure you check out our “Low-Tox Back-to-School” guide). I’ve been thinking about what rhythms are worth keeping and what new ones I want to try this fall.

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the nonstop wellness content online. With so many trends and products, it can feel like you have to swap out everything just to keep up. But I’ve been reminding myself: this doesn’t have to be all-or-nothing.

Lately, I’ve tried slowing down and making small, intentional changes. I added a couple of new supplements for my kids to go along with our school routine. And after noticing one of them had dry skin from all of the summer sun, I took it as a cue to find a clean lotion for the whole family. Simple shifts, but they feel like wins. ~Lauren

Houston’s dreaded hurricane season is officially top of mind—but if you're like me, stocking up on the essentials often falls to the bottom of the list. While you're getting organized for fall, take a peek at our new guide with a Woo-style twist. It covers the usual hurricane preparedness basics, but with holistic alternatives and thoughtful swaps to help you plan ahead.

Making Muffins Memories

We’ve fallen out of the habit of healthier, homemade snacks lately, so we tried baking some muffins last week—and let’s just say… they were a flop. I didn’t have a banana, improvised a little too much, and the result was not great.

But I’ve been challenging myself to give the kids more freedom in the kitchen—more messes, more creativity—so in that sense, we’re calling it a win.
