It’s been an exciting week for this little newsletter—thanks to so many of you sharing Woo with your friends, our community is growing fast. It’s been incredibly encouraging to hear that what we’re building here is actually helping people make healthier, more intentional choices.
If you’re new here, welcome to the Woo Crew—where we share real, local ways to care for your whole self: mind, body, and soul. Make sure to check out all of our recent posts! We believe wellness isn’t something you do alone—it’s something we build together, right here in Houston.
Scroll to the bottom for this week’s roundup of real-life events around town (screen free!). Consider stopping by one to soak up some sunshine and discover new people and products making Houston a healthier place to call home.
And don’t miss this week’s feature: Aloha Auto Spa, a funky local detailing shop offering customized, non-toxic car cleanings that are seriously worth checking out.

Your Commute Called—It Wants Less Chemicals
You spend hours in your car each week—school runs, commutes, road snacks, and coffee spills. But what’s really in the air you’re breathing and on the surfaces you (and your kids) touch? We sat down with Kevin from Aloha Auto Spa to talk about how non-toxic car care can help you clean up your ride and your health.

Simple Swap Review: Fygg Toothpaste
We ran out of toothpaste this week, so it was the perfect excuse to try a new swap—Fygg Toothpaste. The kids gave a thumbs up to Vanilla Vibes, and here’s the adult take on Mild Mint:
Flavor is fresh and mild (in a good way)
It doesn’t froth like traditional toothpaste, so the texture takes some getting used to
Teeth feel clean afterward, though it lacks that lingering minty finish
I’m going to stick with it and report back with a final verdict. In the meantime, I’m putting together a guide to holistically minded, airway-aware dentists in Houston. If you have one you love, hit reply and let us know!
