Hot Buttered Shrimp + Cucumber and Avocado Relish

This spring I’m on a mission to discover all the unexpected places a Le Creuset and some whole foods can go. Most likely? The sidelines of sports practices. Shrimp at the park, anyone?

A friend recently gifted me What to Cook When You Don’t Feel Like Cooking by Caroline Chambers and it may be the cookbook I’ve been looking for my whole adult life. We love big flavor and interesting meals, but life moves fast—and she somehow makes both happen. Flavor without the fuss. I’m officially sold.

Now to the good stuff this week. This week’s feature was actually inspired by my friends’ group chat—where a very real conversation about night sweats turned into learning more and more about our hormones.

Honestly, I’m kind of pumped (seriously) to be living in a time where hormone health is being talked about openly. It’s encouraging to see these conversations moving into everyday discourse—from doctors to regular people—and I hope it becomes the norm as we raise the next generation.

If you’re new to Woo - we’re so glad you’re here! Here are some of our recently published guides you won’t want to miss.

Let’s Talk Hormones

Hormones seem to be having a moment—and honestly, it’s about time. They play a role in everything from sleep and stress to metabolism and energy, yet most of us were never really taught how they work. This week’s guide explores hormone health and highlights Houston practitioners helping people better understand their bodies.

This Is How Winter Is Supposed to Taste 🍸

Winter doesn’t have to feel heavy or indulgent in ways that don’t serve you. It’s a season to slow down, feel grounded, and still savor the ritual of a beautiful drink. Enter Vesper, Pique’s newest release—and my favorite upgrade to winter sipping.

Pique is known for blending ancient botanicals with modern science to create elevated wellness essentials, and Vesper is no exception. This non-alcoholic, adaptogenic aperitif delivers the relaxed, social glow of a cocktail—without alcohol or the next-day regret.

It’s what I reach for when I want something special in my glass on a cold evening. Each sip feels celebratory and calming, with a gentle mood lift, relaxed body, and clear, present mind. No haze. No sleep disruption. Just smooth, grounded ease.

Crafted with L-theanine, lemon balm, gentian root, damiana, and elderflower, Vesper is sparkling, tart, and beautifully herbaceous—truly crave-worthy.

Winter isn’t about cutting back. It’s about choosing what feels good. And Vesper makes every pour feel like a yes.
