I love it when a plan comes together.
I’m still daydreaming about a recent Friday night that fell into place. The kids were with grandparents, our friends were free, and next thing we knew we had secreto pork on the cast iron, a deconstructed wedge salad with a house-made goat cheese dressing, and peach focaccia on the table.
I don’t know what I did to deserve a husband and friends who love to cook and eat like this—but it’s definitely at the top of my (hypothetical) gratitude journal.
We’re big believers at Woo that good food and community is core to all of the health hacks and products money could ever buy. I hope you find a moment like this in your week.

Jane & The Lion Bakehouse
I finally got a chance to get to Jane & The Lion last week. The place is beautiful (inside the old Morningstar on Main St) and the food was equally as delicious. I had the quiche lorraine and by suggestion of the staff, a sourdough biscuit. My husband had the breakfast sandwich and I thought the plating was beautiful, especially that bright orange egg yolk.

Big Food Documentary
Food around my house is a big deal. We’ve spent a lot of time understanding the ingredients in our home the last few years and my husband is an exceptional amateur chef… so we’re excited to watch Breaking Big Food when it comes out on Thanksgiving.
In the meantime, my said-chef husband, is enjoying the new Netflix show “Next Gen Chef" if you’re in a TV show rut.
